I’m running to serve on the Emmaus board. My goal is to serve this community to the best of my ability while seeking God’s will. My walk was number 220. That was an important time in my life. I was on a decent path, but my Emmaus walk helped get me way out of my comfort zone. God used my walk to show me a large community of people that serve each other in the best of ways, by preparing folks to better serve their church home, across all denominations. Immediately, I knew I wanted to serve the Emmaus community once my walk was completed. I made a commitment to myself to give a ‘yes’ anytime I was asked to serve in the community and so far that has been an excellent choice. Harvest Christian Fellowship is my church home. I’m married to Amber Bullard and have three daughters, Jacie (18), Jessi (10), and Jenna (9). Amber went on her Emmaus walk right after I did. Jacie went on her Chrysalis flight a few years back. As a family, we all try to serve the Emmaus and Chrysalis community together. I have served in many positions in the conference room. I served as lay director for a Chrysalis flight in July of 2017, and I’m serving as lay director of Emmaus walk number 260 in April of 2018. Recently, I joined an Emmaus committee to help with community gatherings. My hope is to continue to serve the Emmaus community, for many years, in any way possible. It has been a huge blessing to serve in each way, from behind the scenes to the conference room, and I know that will continue to be true no matter how I serve. Thank you and I look forward to serving with you in the future. Joshua C. Bullard |

I attended Walk 177 in August 2004 where I finally came to understand God’s grace. This walk changed my life in that this Walk led me to become a pastor. I have served in the Emmaus Community as an Assistant Table Leader (Walk 195), Table Leader (Walk 202), Clergy (Walks 212, 215, 220, 225, 235, 242, and 244) as a Behind the Scenes team member, and on the Board in 2011 as a temporary replacement. I more recently served as ALD on Walk # 252. My goal in Emmaus is to continue to spread the message of God’s love and grace and to change lives as mine was changed. De Colores |

David Owen
My name is David Owen. Daryl, my wife, and I live on and operate a cow-calf ranch near Amarillo. I am a mechanical engineer and have spent the majority my business life in operations management supervision and as a consultant to the feed yard industry. We have lived in the Amarillo area since 1993. We became part of the Golden Spread Emmaus family on Walks 210 and 211 in 2009. We are active members of the Rainbow Reunion Group at St Stephen Church. We will work our fifth walk together as BST coordinators this October on Walk 257. It has been my privilege to have served as an Assistant Table Leader or a Table Leader on four walks. I have been chosen to be a Table Leader on Walk 258. Daryl and I are blessed to have sponsored nine pilgrims. I will be forever grateful for my Walk to Emmaus. It opened the door to my relationship with Our Heavenly Father. As a member of the Board of Directors, I will do my best to provide this same opportunity for future pilgrims and to serve Golden Spread Emmaus in whatever way God has plans for me to do. Thank you for considering me for this position. |

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Rusty Williams, and my wife’s name is Reginia. We have been married for over 43 years. We have three wonderful God fearing children and six awesome grandchildren. I began my Walk to Emmaus on January 14th 2001, Walk number #148. My wife and all three of my children have also been on their Walk to Emmaus. Emmaus has been and is one of the most amazing Christian events that I have ever had the opportunity to attend. "Life changing" is the way I describe my Walk and Fourth Day’s. The Walk has helped me grow in my Christian walk with the Lord. Having an opportunity to serve on the Golden Spread Emmaus Board of Director’s would be a humbling and exciting time for me. De Colores Rusty |

Jaci Chadick
I am Jaci Chadick, and I attended my Walk in March 2006…. I was never to be the same. Since that time, I have been honored to be a Table Leader and Assistant Lay Director multiple times. I have worked as Clergy five times, between Emmaus and Chrysalis. In October of next year, I am scheduled to be Spiritual Director for that Walk. I have also enjoyed many weekends on BST and have been BST Coordinator twice. I previously served on both the Emmaus and Chrysalis Boards from 2013-2015 and have also worked as the Inside Board Rep. I learned so much from each talk I have given: "Priorities", "Grow Through Study", "Body of Christ", "Prevenient Grace", "Obstacles to Grace", "Justifying Grace", and "God Loves You" (Chrysalis grace talk). I will be adding "Means of Grace" next year. The BEST achievement I could ever speak of is the love experienced through every person I share any Emmaus event with, in whatever capacity the Lord chooses to use me. Emmaus is outstanding… it’s purpose, it’s people, and it is undoubtedly blessed by God’s design. Having my own life changed and then getting to witness over and over how He continues to do the same for others, is a blessing I could have never known to ask for. I work and support Emmaus in every aspect that I can and to the best of my ability. It is truly a gift that keeps on giving, and its impact is eternal. It turns FRIENDS into FAMILY, and I am forever grateful. |

Pennye Fitch
My name is Pennye Fitch, and I am the loving wife of Richard for 37 years, mother of Leslie and twins Matt and Ashlie. I am Nana of four adorable grandkids; Maddie, Talon, Ryder, and Olivia. Some of my favorite hobbies include cooking, decorating cookies, gardening, traveling, and spending time with my sweet grandbabies. But one of my passions is connecting and pouring into people through weekly bible study. I love connecting and mentoring with the next generation, “their wisdom keeps me learning and young.” I am the Information Systems Associate Director for Hillside Christian Church and have worked with them for 10 years. I love being able to help the staff and volunteers by supporting them with any needs they have and making their job as easy as possible. I hold the Hillside axiom dear, that you must love God and love people, along with having a humble spirit. We have been members of Hillside Christian Church for over 30 years, where we continue to worship and serve. I was a pilgrim on Walk # 164 in October 2002. I was Assistant Spiritual Director on Walks # 247 and # 253. The talks I gave were "Sanctifying Grace" and "Justifying Grace". Being a part of people's walk with Jesus, and drawing near to Him through their spiritual journey, is what drives me to want to be part of The Walk to Emmaus board. |

I am honored to be nominated and considered for the Golden Spread Emmaus Board. I attended Walk #150 many years ago and joined one of the greatest Community of believers worldwide! My walk helped me break free from the walls of religion and helped me see grace and forgiveness in such a beautiful way. I then wanted to serve helping share that love and grace with others. I have edited and published the Emmaus Newsletter for nine years, printed all schedules and materials for directors, and served on the nominating committee twice. I have worked around 15 Emmaus Walks as clergy and three times as Spiritual Director and given all of the Grace talks. I've also served on two Girl's Chrysalis as clergy. I am honored to have a short devotional published with the national Upper Room Emmaus. My home church, God of Wonders Fellowship, is an active supporter and enjoys sponsoring pilgrims and hosting community gatherings. I have been married, for 31 years, to my best friend and have three grown daughters. I work as Area Director for Refugee Services of Texas and part-time at God of Wonder Fellowship. |

My Walk to Emmaus, as a pilgrim, was walk number 186. Those were some of the most important days of my life as I was led to remember how much God loves me, and I have not forgotten since that time. After that walk, I have been an assistant table leader and twice a table leader presenting the "Grow Through Study" and "Changing the World" talks. I have been an active part of reunion groups and attend as many Walk to Emmaus events as time permits. Walk to Emmaus has been, and still is, an important part of my life. I greatly attribute Walk to Emmaus as the stepping stone that built my marriage and family on a firm foundation in Christ. |
